Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed an early aptitude for athletics when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting ability at the when she was just a teenager. Only 10 weeks after her first tryout she came 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. She then attended in the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal in 2004 at the Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. She broke a Junior World Record by doing 200 m in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was named the world's youngest champion for the 200m race. She defended the title the following year, beating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at the Olympics and in the Olympics of Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo constantly placing within the top three places in all her races.
