Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18, 1985, at Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix discovered early that she was gifted for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. In only 10 weeks following her first attempt, Felix placed 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she went to at the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. One year later Felix earned the first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making the world junior record taking 200 metres at 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. In 2007 she defended this title and beat her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo always finishing in the top three of her races.
