Lil Tecca

Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born August 26 the 26th of August, 2002. He is popularly known as Lil Tecca. He rose to mainstream fame after the release of his single from 2019 "Ransom" which had a peak at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was included on his debut mixtape , We Love You Tecca (2019) which reached number 4 on the US Billboard 200. The mixtape also included singles Love Me and Did It Again. The debut album of his studio, Virgo World (2020), debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 and included the Billboard Hot 100's top-charting tracks "Dolly" and "When You Down". His follow-up mixtape, called We Love You Tecca 2, was released in August 2021 which included "Repeat It" and "Lot of Me". Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe, an Jamaican immigrants, was born in Queens on August 26, 2002. Sharpe was born in Queens in Springfield Gardens. However, Sharpe later relocated to Cedarhurst in Long Island. Sharpe had always hoped to play in the NBA as a child but when he was 12 Sharpe decided to pursue his career in music. Sharpe attended Lawrence High School. Tecca was just nine years old age when he began to rap on his Xbox. The two would sometimes make a mockery of one another. One of them was uploaded on SoundCloud some time ago, but the track has since been deleted. At first, he didn't intend to pursue an artistic career, but had dreams of being an NBA star. However, as he entered his middle school years, he resigned himself to basketball and considered taking music more seriously. His debut single, "Tectri", which became popular in beginning of 2017, was recorded with Lil Gummybear and released in collaboration. Lil Gummybear. He also dropped "Callin" in the same year, which was one of his first tracks. Tecca's career took off one year later after the success of his single "Ransom", which was posted to Cole Bennett's Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel on May 22nd 2019. The song climbed to number 4 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The song has had more than 90 million Spotify plays and has more than 300 million YouTube views.
