Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis Greek pronunciation (born October 1 1969): American comedian, musician, comedian, and writer. He appeared on the Comedy Central Presents special and presented his show Late World with Zach on VH1. Galifianakis has appeared in movies like The Hangover trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010) and The Campaign (2012). He was also in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance (2014) as well as Masterminds (2016). He has also voiced characters for animated films such as Puss in Boots (2011), The Lego Batman Movie (2017), Missing Link (2019), and Ron's Gone WRONG (2021). Galifianakis is currently hosting the Funny or Die website talk show Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis. Galifianakis has appeared on the FX series Baskets. He was nominated in 2017 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actor in Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis was a native of Wilkesboro, North Carolina on October 1 1969. His mother is Scottish-Irish and English origin, and his paternal grandparents are Greek immigrants from Crete. He was baptized according to the father's Greek Orthodox faith.
