Riley Keough
American
actress Danielle Riley Keough. She was born in Santa Monica to Danny Keough and
Lisa Marie Presley. She is the daughter of Elvis Presley, actress, and singer.
Keough was raised mostly by her father in Hawaii and Los Angeles, and
additionally resided with her mother in California and Tennessee. She started
modeling at 15. Her appearances at Dolce & Gabbana fashion shows and
Christian Dior's cover shoots were just among her many highlights. Keough made
her feature film debut when she was 20 years old, appearing in a supporting
part in the musical biopic The Runaways (2010), portraying Marie Currie. After
The Good Doctor (2011), Keough starred in Jack & Diane (2012). She was then
cast in a minor role in Steven Soderbergh's comedy Magic Mike (2012). After her
appearance in Yellow and Kiss of the Damned in 2012, Keough was cast in the
big-budget action film Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). In 2016, Keough had her
breakthrough role as a law student-turned-escort in the first season of the
anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh
and based on his 2009 film of the same name. Her role received praise from
critics and she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by
an actress in a short series or motion picture made for television. Keough's
performance of a depressed young girl in American Honey (2017) garnered
accolades, and an Independent Spirit Award nomination. In the same year, Keough
appeared in the apocalyptic slasher film It Comes at Night (2017), and reunited
with Soderbergh to play a role in his heist film, Logan Lucky. In 2018, she was
a star in several horror and thriller films, including Lars Von Trier’s The
House That Jack Built The House That Jack Built, the Neo-Noir Under the Silver
Lake and Hold the Dark. Keough played the lead role in the 2019 psycho-horror
film The Lodge. She was followed by another role in Zola (2020) as an
comedy-drama. Keough portrays Sandy Harrison in Netflix’s 2020 release of The
Devil All the Time.
