Miley Ray Cyrus is an American actress, singer as well as songwriter and actor. Her distinctive raspy voice is the hallmark of her music, which blends elements from various genres and styles including rock, country, pop, experimental and rock. With thirteen entries, Cyrus holds the record for the most US Billboard 200 top five albums of the 21st century performed by a female artist. Cyrus's life in the public eye, her images and performances have often sparked controversy and received significant media attention. Cyrus, the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus country music singer, became an idol as a teenager when she played the title character on Disney Channel's Hannah Montana (2006-2011). As Hannah Montana, she attained three top five and two number-one soundtracks in the US Billboard 200, including the US Billboard Hot 100 top-ten single "He Could Be the One". Cyrus's own discography includes the US number-one albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008) and Bangerz (2012) The top five hits Can't Get Tamed (2017), Younger Now (2017) and Plastic Hearts (2020); and the Miley Cyrus & His Dead Petz (2015).
