Brooke Christa Shields (born May 31, 1965) is an American actress and model. At age 12, she was a child model. She received critical acclaim for her role in Louis Malle's film Pretty Baby (1978). She continued to model into her teen years, and was praised for her performance in the film of Louis Malle's Pretty Baby. In the 1990s, Shields returned to acting and appeared in small parts in films. She also appeared in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan (1996-2000), for which she was awarded two Golden Globe nominations, and Lipstick Jungle (2008-2009). Shields returned to NBC in 2017, reprising her role as a major recurring character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unified's 19th season. Shields voices Beverly Goodman in Adult Swim's animated show Mr. Pickles since 2014. Mr. Pickles since 2014. Brooke Christa Shields is a New Yorker who was born May 31 1965 in Manhattan. She is the daughter and businessman Frank Shields (1941-1903). Based on William Addams Reitwiesner research, Shields had ancestral connections with several noble families from Italy. These are namely (in chronological order of descent from 1355 to 1965) the Gattilusi-Palaiologos-Savoy, Grimaldi, Imperiali, Carafa, Doria, Doria-Pamphili-Landi, Chigi-Albani, and Torlonia dynasties. Her paternal grandmother was the Italian noblewoman Marina Torlonia di Zivitella-Cesi who was the daughter of an Italian prince and an American socialite. Her great-uncle Alessandro Torlonia, an Italian nobleman was the husband of Infanta Beatriz who was born in Spain. Teri was paid an amount from the family of Frank to terminate the pregnancy.
